Eurocopter, Total, EDF, Games for Health Europe, Succubus… They are all going to be in Valenciennes the 4th and 5th of june next. And what’s the occasion? But of course: the E–Virtuoses! The e-learning, serious games, simulation and gamification’s fair.
No need to introduce the e-virtuoses anymore, but this unmissable stop-off of the annual tour of the sector professionals does not rest on its laurels and follow what it has initiated in 2012 by moving up a gear with its symposium.
Just like the 2012 edition, the fair will hold an international scientific symposium, and this year the scientific dimension will take on a new meaning: “Games for all purposes? Appropriation, Repurposing and Rejection”.
The objects of study will include in particular serious game, serious play, serious gaming and gamification. Different types of analyses can be suggested for different types of purposes, uses and scopes.
The purpose of the Symposium in 2013 is to present approaches, paradigms and feedbacks using theoretical frameworks and methodologies that help observe, measure and analyse the impact of these objects and of the resulting transformations: acceptance, appropriation, resistance, repurposing, rejection… Icing on the cake, the best contributions will be associated to publication projects in scientific journals.
